The work of video artist Chris Basmajian has been exhibited internationally in festivals, galleries, and cultural centers, including Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, Wilmington, Delaware; FILE 2009 Electronic Language International Festival, Ruth Cardoso Cultural Center, Sao Paulo, Brazil; International Forum Art Tech Media Córdoba in Córdoba, Spain; The Tank Space for Performing and Visual Arts in New York City; the Jyväskylä Art Museum in Jyväskylä, Finland; and Orange County Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Ana, California. Chris Basmajian was born in San Jose, California, in 1972. He received a M.F.A. from Maryland Institute College of Art, and a B.A. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. |
